Supported formats & what to expect

Input	Processing
HEIC / HEIF	Bundled libheif decoder. Multi-image HEIF files offer image selection. Support depends on the codec used by the source.
DNG & camera RAW	Full LibRaw demosaicing, not a renamed embedded preview. RAW previews may use an embedded thumbnail; exports process the sensor data. Supported camera formats depend on LibRaw 0.22.1.
TIFF / TIF	Choose a page from multi-page TIFFs. Standard TIFF colour formats and compression supported by UTIF; specialist variants may fail clearly.
JPEG, PNG, WebP, GIF, AVIF, BMP, ICO, SVG	Decoded by this browser. SVG is sanitised and rasterised. Animated inputs export one still frame. Browser support varies for AVIF and unusual encodings.

Output: JPEG, PNG, WebP, uncompressed 8-bit TIFF, 24-bit BMP, single-frame GIF and PNG-based ICO. AVIF is enabled only if this browser supplies a real AVIF encoder. HEIC and camera RAW/DNG are input formats, not output formats.

Images are rendered into 8-bit sRGB. HDR, RAW processing, colour profiles, special TIFF encodings and transparency may look different from the source application. Maximum working canvas: 48 megapixels and 16,384px per edge; some mobile browsers have lower limits. Converted downloads retained in this tab are limited to 256 MB; download and remove completed images to make room. Open-source licences and codec sources.
